Bright Daily Briefing

Editorial policy

Bright Daily Briefing aims to make each story engaging, fair and clear about what it can support. We separate established information from interpretation, check factual details against suitable sources, and revise copy when a meaningful error comes to light.

Accuracy and context

Writers and editors check names, terminology, dates and other factual details before publication. We seek more than one reliable reference where a claim warrants it, and take care not to make a narrow example stand for every experience. When information is uncertain or a topic has competing interpretations, the story should say so rather than imply certainty.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to satisfy a partner or advertiser. We correct factual errors as promptly as we can and make a clear note when a correction changes the meaning of a story. Readers can send corrections through the Contact page with the story title and the detail in question.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner-supported content is clearly identified as such, and its commercial relationship is not presented as independent editorial coverage. Partners do not determine our conclusions in ordinary editorial stories. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an image is illustrative rather than a documentary record, we label it accordingly.
